How to manage Dry Hair

Dry hair it's a no no for most girls who consider their hair as one of their best assets. We cannot deny the fact that everything around us can damage our hair especially if we girls are always on the go. These external factors are commonly
  • Using shampoo too often
  • Harsh shampoo
  • Hair dye
  • Overuse of blow dryer and curling iron
  • Too much exposure to sun and wind
  • Chlorine in pools

But don't worry girls there are easy home remedies to treat your hair. In these way you will be able to bring back your youthful glow. You can use any of these remedies:

  • Beat an egg in a cup of skimmed milk. When the foam becomes consistent, rub it into the scalp. Leave it on for 5 minutes. Rinse the hair thoroughly with water. Carry out this routine twice a week .
  • Apply hot oil treatments to treat dry and damaged hair at least 1 or 2 times per week.
  • Use shampoo at least every other day.
  • Use conditioner that has little or no alcohol. Conditioners with no fragrance tend to be having low alcohol.
  • Massaging your scalp.
  • Do not comb your hair while it is wet.
  • If you want to get a shiny hair try using 1 EGG with a tbsp of milk and place it in your hair.

    Getting to know MARK DRINKUTH

    Mark Drinkuth

    Age: 19

    Birthday: June 12

    Hometown: Dusseldorf, West Germany

    Position: Midfielder; striker

    Dating status: Taken

How did you start? Who got you into it?
My father. He also used to play football, and he would take me to watch the games and play with me. Football is very big in Germany, so it’s really not uncommon.

    What’s your guilty pleasure?
I go to the cinema, watch movies. I also go shopping, hang out, maybe eat.

    What do you like eating?
    That’s hard. Maybe pizza.

Do you go to the Philippines often?
The last time I was here was six years ago. But I plan to come here more often now.

What do you like most about the Philippines?
The people! All of them are very warm and friendly. They say hi to you, and they smile at you even if you don’t know them at all. They’ve been very welcoming to all of us, everyone is nice. It’s not like that in Germany.

What advice can you give aspiring Pinoy football players?
Just practice and work really hard on what you love.

    How to make Sushi

Sushi a viand originated from Japan. I never tasted it until my cousins made one. Actually it tasted good and I have got a chance to try making it myself. Well it's kinda easy but you gotta be careful when slicing it, so it doesn't break.

    INGREDIENTS:
    • Nori seaweed sheets
    • Mangoes, sliced
    • Crab meat, sliced
    • Cucumber, sliced
    • Rice

    DIRECTIONS:

Place Nori sheet in a plate.

Place a small amount of rice and crab mixture, mangoes and cucumber on each nori sheet seaweed; roll the sushi into a log jelly-roll style. Slice into ¾-inch pieces and serve immediately.

    mouth watering sweets

Inspired by many cooking shows airing on TV, my twin and I decided to make one. We decided to make Panna Cotta because I was curious with the taste and contestants in cooking shows always choose these dessert. And we were glad of the result, the dessert just looks like what we have watched on TV and it tasted delicious. Thanks to our technology we get to watch these shows.

     Panna Cotta topped with strawberries

Mocha Mousse..I made these myself and actually these tasted great!

    Discovering Davao

Davao, is just a cool place. Filled with beautiful spots, fruits, fish and lovely people. I remember the night where we went to a place having a drink and listening to great bands where not a single one could be caught smoking. That was just awesome having to spend a night with a smoke free environment. Too bad for smokers since Davao prohibits smoking and when caught there would be a fine of 10k or not be put in jail for a day.

scary :/ too many big crocodiles. .

look I'm close to one of them..

The thing I like most in the crocodile park was the fire dancing..it was so  amazing!
